June Newsletter
NOTE FROM KI
ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, SUMMER! June in Los Angeles marks the end of the school year, and with it comes weeks packed with dance recitals, elementary school talent shows, the 4th grade musical, the season’s last baseball game, preschool graduation, family birthdays and, of course — Father’s Day. Whew! As a mom, I looked forward to the slower, more playful rhythm that summer break promised.
When the school bell rings for the last time, it feels like the gates open to all the summer joys: The weather is just right. Flea markets are buzzing. And there’s nothing like cool morning walks followed by lazy naps in the shade to make you feel as if you're on vacation — even without leaving the neighborhood. Patio seating at the local bistro and the familiar scent of sunscreen remind me how sweet life can be.
This summer, I’m especially excited to join my 10-year-old granddaughter at a beginners tennis camp. It's an adventure for both of us, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot of fun (and laughs!).
To savor every single moment of summer I plan to press pause on my newsletter until September. But don’t worry — my online magazine will still update weekly to keep you connected and inspired all season long.
Cheers to a joyful, restful summer and to all things vintage!

- A wide-brim hat for instant shade
- Comfy sneakers to wear to the gym
- Soft cotton jersey pajamas for warm nights
