The Journey Begins.
IT'S TIME. As I approach my 73rd birthday, I’ve decided to retire. Even typing those words feels surreal. For as long as I can remember, my days have been filled with projects on the board and ideas in motion. I’m not entirely sure what retirement will look like for me — but I’m ready to find out.
I know I will deeply miss the camaraderie and connection I’ve shared with you — my readers, customers and work associates. You have been such an important part of my daily life. But I’m also looking forward to this next adventure with an open heart.
My website will close in the next few days. Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting my work all these years.
You may still see me pop up on Instagram from time to time — depending, of course, on how busy my grand kiddos keep me! I have trips planned to Africa and Patagonia, and I’m hoping to stay healthy and strong enough to keep lifting my suitcase into the overhead bin and keep pace with my travels and a younger generation’s boundless energy.
I am profoundly grateful for the years you’ve cheered me on and supported my business. Because of you, I’ve had the joy of celebrating and sharing a vintage-inspired life. You truly mean the world to me.
Cheers to a new chapter and to all things vintage.
I’ll see you at the flea market.
